• 10-01-2017: The work with our student G. Panagopoulos on 'Rising stars in collaborative author networks' has been for publication in the journal of Informetrics, Detecting rising stars in dynamic collaborative networks.

• 15-03-2015: The work with our student D. Proios on 'Personalized advertising and aspect-based opinion mining for users and businesses' has made it to the ASONAM 2015 Conference, TipMe: Personalized advertising and aspect-based opinion mining for users and businesses.
• 15-08-2014: Our sentiment analysis application, PYTHIA, made it to ECML/PKDD 2014 Demo Session. Pythia combines Word Sense Disambiguation and sentiment analysis in word and sentence level.
• 01-06-2014: The GPSTracker application demo for classifying user movevement using a smartphone will be presented at WIMS 2014.
• 28-05-2013: Part of speech tagging and Word Sense Dissambiguation services have been added to the OMIOTIS Server. Check here for the service wsdl description. Sentiment analysis services are on the road.
